Back to Calgary once again!

Mason and his Mum drove back to Calgary on Tuesday. Mason had a CT Scan on Wednesday and was scheduled for a P.E.T. Scan today but this Scan was postponed until tomorrow. From "Wikepedia" : Positron emission tomography (PET) is a nuclear medicine imaging technique which produces a three-dimensional image or picture of functional processes in the body.  PET scans are increasingly read alongside CT or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, the combination ("co-registration") giving both anatomic and metabolic information (i.e., what the structure is, and what it is doing biochemically).
Jade is requesting as many prayers and positive thoughts as possible right now since these tests are to determine how effective the chemotherapy has been. As usual, Mason is his same happy, positive self.
Your loving thoughts and prayers are most welcome at this time.

Dear Mason & Family
Your Grampa (Greg) is my very good friend and so I have been reading your blog, thinking about you, and praying for you. The last time we met was at Boston Pizza, in Moose Jaw, after a hockey game. I remember you as a family that has a lot of love and a lot of joy in your hearts. Your eyes and voices smile, even when your mouths are at rest or busy talking. So, it was a pleasure being with you and especially so because you are such a big part of my friend's family. I know he is very proud of you all and loves you all very much. He is a good man and I am sure you are proud of him too.
I know that you are all doing your very best to enjoy each day and doing all you can to be strong and happy no matter how hard that may be on some days. I encourage you to keep up the good work.
Every person in this world faces challenges. Some say that these challenges make us stronger and I believe that is sometimes true. But I also believe that it is the strong that get stronger. So, be strong and get stronger. Trust in each other and in yourselves. And, if you can, trust in God.
Not everyone believes in a God of love and power; a God who cares about each of us and who is wiser than all of us put together. I believe in a God like that. So, when I pray to Him about you, I ask Him to pour the power of love into your lives so that it overflows. I ask Him to give you comfort when you are scared or hurting. I ask Him to protect you from things that threaten you or make you feel bad or sad. I trust He can do all of that and more. But, it certainly helps if you ask and trust too. So, I hope you are prayng with me.
This is the very first blog I have ever participated in, if that is what you call what I am doing. I hope what I have said is of some value to you, even if only because it tells you another person cares.
Please accept my love and encouragement on this day and each day know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
